How do you setup attendance rule for the School?

  • Navigate to Institution management tab
  • Select the Institution and click on go
  • Click on search icon under action next to the institution name
  • Click on the school Setup tab.
  • Click on the attendance tab
  • Select the edit tab.

 

  • Set up the attendance rules based on the requirements and click on save.

Minimum Time in SIS – This means the system will track the minimum attendance based on the time recorded in the Student Information System.

Minimum Time in LMS (synced nightly) – This tracks the attendance time recorded in the Learning Management System, which syncs with SIS nightly.

External Attendance – Attendance entered manually or from an external source.

Auto Approval – If checked, external attendance entries would be approved automatically.

Max Past Days: Limits how far back the system allows them to mark attendance for the student.
